I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat so people are sometimes surprised that I do any horror work at all, but it actually helps - when I scare myself with my illustrations, I can be sure I'm on the right track.

Eye Scream

These horrified a lot of my friends, but are actually inspired by how my eyes feel when I refuse to wear my glasses.

Dream Woman

She shook her head, 'no'.

The Man in the Old Shack

There was something wrong with him, so we all stayed away.

Rag Man

The rag men were made of blood-soaked bandages, and everything they touched rotted away.

Obese Demon

He was covered in tumours and extra limbs, slow but unstoppable.

Split Face

He didn't seem hostile, but he was covered in old blood.

Maggot Man

The maggot men all had loose, translucent skin and bulbous red eyes. There were many of them crawling far below me.

Skinless

The skinless man broke his own jaw to show that we couldn't hurt him. There was no way to escape.

The Man in the Doorway

He was impossibly tall.

Poisonous Light

You had to stay out of the searchlights.

Baby

The 'baby' was found wrapped in newspaper.
